Choose one message per image
Begin with the information a shopper needs to make progress. A product feature, size comparison or use case is easier to understand when the image has one clear purpose. Write that purpose before arranging the visual elements.
Make details legible
Review images at the size shoppers will actually see. Keep labels concise and check that product details remain visible on a phone. Visual hierarchy should guide attention from the product to the supporting explanation.
Review claims and consistency
Check that every visual claim agrees with the product specification and listing copy. Keep typography and the treatment of product details consistent across the set. A useful review looks at the sequence as a whole as well as each individual image.
