Make the first impression useful
Start by asking what a shopper can understand at a glance. The title, main image and visible product information should make the offer clear. A shopper should not have to search through several sections to discover what the product is for.
Answer the next question
Give each part of the listing a job. Supporting images can explain dimensions, features and use cases. Copy can add context. A+ content can connect the product to a wider brand story. Review the sequence for repetition and unanswered questions.
Improve one source of friction
Collect recurring questions and review the listing on a phone. Prioritize one change that addresses a clear misunderstanding. Track the change alongside traffic quality, pricing and availability so the result is interpreted in context.
